The awards will be announced in a ceremony in Tallin, Estonia,
in September 2019.
The European Conference of Leading Architects (ECOLA) has
nominated the ‘H House’ project, by 4M Group, for
the ECOLA 2019 Awards.
The ECOLA competition invites nominees from one-off projects
that use render as a material to make an architectural
statement.
The architectural journal AIT in cooperation with the company
Sto SE & Co. KGaA and the Bundesverband Ausbau und Fassae,
award exemplary realised buildings and projects which are
coined by the building material render. Acknowledge are the
exemplary use of colour, structure, and surface and
extraordinary façade design as well as projects in the
residential area, which are completely or in essential parts
characterised by the building material render.
4M Group is honoured to receive this ECOLA nomination, which
once again recognises the value of the H house, built in
Kosovo in 2016. Projects from 44 countries have been nominated
and a further jury evaluation will take place in May.
The awards will be announced in a ceremony in Tallin,
Estonia, in September 2019. The award jury includes the
following members: Valentin Bearth (Bearth & Deplazes,
CH-Chur), Andreas Cukrowicz (cukrowicz.nachbaur architekten,
AT-Bregenz), and Manuelle Gautrand (Manuelle Gautrand
Architecture, FR-Paris).
In 2018, the H House was also recognised with a nomination
for the EU Mies van der Rohe awards. Its design, boldness, and
monumental dynamics continue to be a reflection of 4M
Group’s ambition to make statements about what
architecture can be.
